Pack 3025 Parents Meeting – agenda in black font, notes in blue font

1) Call the meeting to order (Chair)

2) Welcome and introduction of new members and guests (Chair) Jeff and John present for the meeting

3) Review of previous meeting minutes (Secretary)

4) Reports:

· Cubmaster

· Brian (via Jeff) is requesting to change the meeting time to 7:00 to accommodate his work schedule.  Since this was a very small parents meeting we will review this at the next meeting.

· Secretary

· Review pack schedule for next 3 months

· Health forms, status.  Health forms are still needed from 3 scouts.

· Treasurer – Pack financial report.  Account totals are $2,113.13 overall, with $1,138.47 in the general fund and $984.66 in the scout accounts.  The $386.55 check from the January can drive was deposited and is included in these amounts.

· Outdoor/activities

· February 4 – Scout Sunday, report

· Pinewood Derby car cut-out days

· KWWL visit.  March 8.

o Webelos and Bears at 1:00

o Wolves and Tigers at 1:45

o They have max tour capacity of 22 people per tour.

· March 4 - Pinewood Derby & Blue/Gold banquet, and Friends of Scouting presentation

            Bears – Meat and main course

            Webelos – Desert

            Wolves – Sides

            Tigers – Drinks

            Henry to pick up two cases of water just in case

                                                Table covers are not needed for this meeting

Friends of scouting  - part of blue and gold.     

· March 3 - Track setup following can drive – weigh in following track setup.

All 6 lanes available

Requesting that Matt to be MC for the derby race

· Advancement – advancement activities

· Scoutbook “sync”

· Service Projects

· Pop can tabs for Ronald McDonald House.  Tabs not pulled at last drive.

· Chaplain – Religious awards, update (Mike) - not part of blue and gold.

                    How do we learn about opportunity for mass in Dubuque in the future

· Training

· Equipment – Receiver and 2” ball available in scout garage.  Matt provided saw.

· Fundraising – Last pop can drive, Feb 10, report.  Next planned March 3

· Membership –

· Round Table Update – update from Feb 8 round table

· Webelos to Scouts transition, follow up from November parents meeting.  Topic not covered.

· Girls in Cub Scouting – what are the pack’s future plans?  Discussion needed with chartering organization.  Bring back to agenda in Feb 2018. Topic not covered.

· Insulated water canteens to replace disposable water bottles at campouts (Andy) tabled for next meeting  Topic not covered.

· Class B shirts, review Dec/Jan (Brian) tabled for next meeting.  Topic not covered.

6) New Business

· No new topics.

7) Announcements

· Next parents meeting Monday, March 19, 2018 at The O.P. (on Ridgeway Ave across from West High), meeting starts at 7:30 PM.
