5) Old
Business
·
Pinewood Derby – The recycling of old trophies is nearly complete, many thanks to Ken Boss
and Dana Jenson for providing the inspiration and guidance. We will use a table for sign-in and car
inspection. Car numbers will be assigned
and affixed to the cars at that time.
The scouts will receive “racing licenses” when their cars successfully
complete inspection. The Pinewood Derby
rules are being included with this document as a reminder. Other plans for the pinewood derby and the
Blue/Gold banquet are being communicated from the leaders via email.
6) New
Business
·
Recruiting for fall 2019 – Next fall’s recruiting
class will include students transferring to St. Eds from Blessed
Sacrament. As no girls joined the pack
this year, we have the option to recruit next year as an all-boys or coed
pack. This is being brought up now to
get people thinking about recruiting for next fall, with the intent to make a
decision to determine our scope of recruiting at our April parents meeting.
7)

·

spring break, the next parents meeting is scheduled one week earlier, Monday,
March 11, 2019 at The O.P. (on Ridgeway Ave across from West High), meeting
starts at 7:30 PM.
8) Adjournment
– Upon
having completed the evening’s business, the meeting was adjourned at
approximately 8:50 pm.
Respectfully Submitted,
