o   June 1 report: check arrived July 17, $366.45, each of the 10 participating scouts received $24.43 in their scout accounts.

o   July 6 report: We had a small crew and lots of bags, finishing at 11:30, 7 scouts (and 4 adults) participated.  Check arrived August 10, $807.60, each of the 7 participating scouts received $76.91 in their scout accounts.  This more than doubled our previous best July, and is second highest month ever.

o   August 3 report:  7 scouts (and 4 adults) participated, estimated check $418, with each scout to receive an estimated $39.81.

o   Next can drive September 7

o   How do we encourage more adults to participate in can drives.  The last 2 have only had 4 adults attending, making for a heavy burden.  The group discussed some possible financial incentives, and will continue the discussion at upcoming parents meetings.

·         Elks parking for Irish Fest, Sat, Aug 3, 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, we had 2 crews of 4 adults.  The Elks commented that this was the best year ever for parking receipts, and they attributed that to having troops and packs working during the 3 days.  We expect to receive a check for about $500.
