1) Meeting called to order by
Matt Hennig at 7:34 pm.
2) Attending:

3) Review
of previous meeting minutes
December meeting minutes approved.
4) Reports:
·
Cubmaster
· Scout Sunday is Feb 3, and Andy Wolter is making arrangements with the church for our involvement at 9:00AM mass.
· Our uniform protocol for meetings will be communicated to scouts and parents. Scouts are expected to wear the uniform shirts with current badges, neckerchief and slide, pants with belt, and closed toe shoes.
· Mike is working with John Henry to designate a pinewood derby car cut out day.
·
Secretary
· Review pack schedule for next 3 months. The schedule was reviewed and no changes were made at this time.
· Health forms, update: We still need 3 health forms (all scouts). 47 have been received, although 2 of those need insurance cards.

· Pack financial report: The packs accounts total $8,734.87, with sub accounts as follows:

Income since the last parents meeting is $988
in 2 pop can checks, and expense is $2952 for annual recharter and $189 for
pinewood derby car kits and awards.

Outdoor/activities
· Feb 2 Scout Sunday, meet in church basement at 8:30 before 9:00 mass. The boys will be greeters before mass, and will help with coffee and donuts following mass. Please be in uniform. There will be no pack meeting in the evening due to the Super Bowl. Matt will get with Troop 29 to see how or if they want to participate in the Scout Sunday mass.
· Feb 15-16 Klondike Derby (Webelos and Boy Scouts)
· Feb 22 Polar Bear Day Camp (Cub Scouts)
· March 1 Pinewood Derby, details to be announced
· April 26 Crossover and Blue/Gold banquet

Service Projects
· Update on food bank, spring cleanup around school & church, and other potential projects
·
Chaplain Religious awards, update. Light of Christ workbooks are needed for the
Wolves. Chris K will purchase from the
scout shop.
·
Training Mike is asking leaders and committee members to participate in BALOO
training in May.
·

Fundraising Pop cans, update
·
November 7 report: received $860.95 check on Dec 26. 9 participating scouts each received $61.24
for their scout accounts. This check included
$31.24 in bottles collected from Damons that was separately credited to the
general fund.
·
December
3 report: $126.05 check received Dec 28
for bottles picked up from Damons in November. Entire amount deposited into general fund as
no scouts were involved in pickup, and sorting was not needed.
·
Late
Dec/early Jan (sometime before Jan 4) Bottles and cans from Isle Casino (Nov
& Dec) and Damons Sports Bar Dec), expected check
of $549 will be credited to the general fund when received.
·
January
4 report: 13 scouts participated,
estimated check $517, with each scout to receive an estimated $26. Waiting for check to arrive.

5) Old Business
·
Class B
shirts cost and delivery information Matt received cost information from
the supplier. T shirts up to size XL are
$9.50 each, 2XL $2 more, and 3XL $3 more.
Long sleeve shirts are $3 more, and sweatshirts are $18 for crew and $23
for hooded. The pack committee is
considering purchasing t shirts for all scouts and registered adults.

Rechartering
update rechartering is complete as all necessary records have been
transmitted and payment made.
6) New Business
·
Troop
29, recently relocated from Blessed Sacrament to St. Edward, met for the first
time in the church hall last week. They
have designated two den chiefs for work with the pack, and we look forward to
their involvement.
7) Announcements
· Next parents meeting Monday, February 17, 2020 at The O.P. (on Ridgeway Ave across from West High), meeting starts at 7:30 PM.
8) Adjournment - Upon having completed the evenings business, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:45 pm.
