·         Equipment – LP heated griddle/grill, update.  Instead of 1 larger griddle, the pack was able to purchase two smaller ones, with more total cooking area, and they apparently performed well at the Backbone campout.  We are waiting for covers to arrive to complete the project.

·         Membership

·         Update – current roster: 33 youth (-7 since last month, crossover scouts removed) and 11 adults (no change)

·         Recruiting plan & activities.  Matt is having discussions with St. Eds to see what is feasible for recruiting activities.  Matt will follow up in a week.

·         Round Table Update – At virtual Round Table on Aug 19:

·         Jim Madison discussed the membership fee increases effective Aug 1, noting that all fees go to BSA national, and none are retained by the local council.  The council has the authority to collect additional fees but so far has been able to fund their operations with fundraisers and contributions.

·         The Winnebago Council has a YouTube channel where they host many videos.  Videos from virtual summer camps will be available later this fall.

·         Scouting.org has leader resources for covid-19.

·         Ingawanis is reopening.  Guidelines limit total camp occupancy to 50 people.  Only 1 person per tent is allowed at this time.  Cabins are not available for use at this time.

5) Old Business

·         Class B shirts, update.  We will wait for recruiting to be completed before making an order for the shirts.

6) New Business

·         Policy for borrowing pack equipment.  A recent request regarding the availability of pack equipment by a pack member was received.  We currently have no policy.  Troop 1 had a policy and form that provided guidelines.  Chris will send the Troop 1 form to Mike for review and recommended changes.  This item to be reviewed next month.

·         Meeting location plan – are school or church facilities available.  We are not certain that school facilities will be available for us to use for meetings.  Mike will check with the school and church to see what our options are.

7) Announcements

·         Next parents meeting Monday, September 14, 2020 at TBD, meeting starts at 7:00 PM.

8) Adjournment - Upon having completed the evening’s business, the meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:40 pm.

Respectfully Submitted,
