1) Meeting called to order by Matt Hennig at 7:01 pm.

3) Review previous meeting minutes and current agenda – December meeting minutes and this evening’s agenda approved.

Cubmaster
· No report, the agenda covers items otherwise discussed here.
·
Secretary
· Review pack schedule for next 3 months: Pinewood Derby moved from March 7 to March 28, Scout Sunday will be observed at Feb 6 Saturday 5:15pm mass per discussion with Fr. Bullock.
· Health forms: 45 on-hand (no change from last month), need 15 (+4 from last month) (youth & adult). Reminders prior to upcoming meetings will be resumed.

Since the last parents meeting, we had income of $1036 in 2 pop can checks, and expenditures of $211 for pinewood derby car kits, $247 in pop can sorting equipment upgrades, $392 for transfer of scout account, and $79 for reimbursement from scout accounts.

Pack & Den Meetings – Meeting space update; parents at scout
meetings. We will continue at the Elks
for the next meeting, Jan 24 at 6:00pm.

Outdoor/activities
· January 30 – Polar Bear, 9:30-4:00, Camp Ingawanis, early registration $10 each youth and adult
· February 6 – Scout Sunday, update. The troop will observe Scout Sunday at the Saturday Feb 6 mass at 5:15pm. Due to covid, we will not be greeting at the door, sitting together as a pack, or serving coffee and donuts after mass. Scouts will sit with their families. The pack will sanitize the church after mass.
· February 20 – Klondike Derby, Webelos and Scouts BSA
· February 27 – Polar Bear, 9:30-4:00, Camp Ingawanis, early registration $10 each youth and adult.
· March 28 – Pinewood Derby, planning: car cutout days, race stewards, sibling race trophy(ies), covid contingencies. Car cutout days are being planned and we should have a schedule next week.
· Start planning for spring campout?
· Advancement – the Journey to Excellence patches are here and they will be passed out at Sunday’s meeting
·
Service Projects
· Update on food bank and other potential projects. We plan to sanitize the church after “Scout Sunday” as a service project. We are looking to collect canned food donations at an upcoming can drive as another service project.
·
Chaplain – Religious awards, update. Some scouts are working on the award
currently. 4 Light of Christ
applications are ready to send.
·
Training – Adult leader staining is being scheduled by the council.
·
Equipment – Equipment committee, update. No
report.
·
Fundraising – Pop cans, update; scouts at can drives

Next can drive February 6, 2021 |
Starting at our February can drive, the pack will prorate the
shares of the two-thirds split to be credited to scout accounts based on the
amount of time each adult works. We are
grateful for the time everyone is able to volunteer, whether for the entire
time or just part of it. There will be a
sign in sheet to be filled out when people arrive and leave.

roster: 47 youth (no change) and 13 adults (+1)

Round Table Update (from January Round
table)
· Units need to schedule Friends Of Scouting, in-person or virtual, set date with Melanie. We will look at scheduling with crossover this summer.
· Polar Bear: Feb 27 and Jan 30. Lots of activities for families, snow or no snow
· Klondike Derby, Feb 20
· Council programming calendars will be available soon
· Summer camp registration open for Cub, Webelos, and Scouts BSA camps
· Camp Ingawanis is available for use by units (day use), just call council in advance
5) Old Business

Class B
shirts, update. Matt will make an announcement
at the next meeting to get sizes updated for scouts and leaders.
6) New Business
·
Quarterly
Journey to Excellence review. Our biggest opportunities for improvement are
performing service projects and better scout participation in council participation
at council day and residence camps. We
are making plans to address both.
·
Leader
name tags. Matt will get costs from a
local business and pursue purchasing for pack leadership.
7) Announcements
· Next parents meeting Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1850 Patio & Grill, meeting starts at 7:00 PM.
