·         Meeting & can drive space update – The pack is back at St. Edward for both meetings and can drives.  Many thanks to everyone involved in our return.

·         Cubmaster

·         When do we want to hold crossover, the first or last Sunday in June?  Mike will work with the Webelos Arrow of Light den and Troop 29 to see what works best.

·         Membership and recruiting – We need to emphasize the need for full attendance at the all-school recruiting assemblies.  We are also considering speaking at each mass at several local Catholic churches 1 to 2 weeks before our recruiting nights.

·         Secretary

·         Review pack schedule for next 3 months.  The July 17 pack meeting was moved to July 24.

·         Quarterly Journey to Excellence (J2E) review. The criteria for J2E has been revised considerably for 2022, with emphasis on parent/family involvement, recruiting of new dens, and greater levels of cub scout advancement.  Our current self-evaluation shows that we are at an effective (bronze) level.

·         Outdoor/activities

·         April 3 – Pinewood Derby, report.  The car cut out events went well.  The volunteers did a great job with set up and running the derby.  The scouts were enthusiastic and seemed to have a great time cheering for their cars.  Pack 3051 was very helpful in setup and teardown.  Their scouts fit right in with ours and had a great time also.

·         May 13-15 – Volga River State Recreation Area, update.  The group approved the campout location, and Mike reserved the group campground.  He will send an email to the pack with the details.

·         Pack visit to National Guard Armory, what dates in April, and June work for them?  Update.  The Armory has not responded to our attempts to communicate with them.  We will look at other venues to visit such as the Waterloo Police Department, Fire Department, and KWWL.  PARENTS:  Please let us know if you have ideas for places that would be interesting for the pack to visit.

·         Advancement – advancement reports.  No report.

·         Service Projects – The pack was represented by the Treinen and Wing families for managing the Easter Vigil fire.

·         Chaplain – Religious awards, update.  No report

·         Training – There is BALOO - Cub Scout Outdoor Leader Training May 21-22 at Camp Waubeek (near Central City)

·         Equipment – no new equipment is believed to be needed.  LP tanks will be topped off before the May campout.

·         Fundraising – Pop cans, update
