·         Outdoor/activities

·         February 1 – Several pack leaders with the assistance of several of our cub scouts, led a 15-20 minute school flag assembly at St. Edward School.

·         February 5 – Scout Sunday report.  Excellent turnout of scouts and leaders with everyone in their Class A uniforms.  Scouts assisted with greeting arriving mass attendees, carrying gifts for communion, and coffee and donuts after mass.

·         February 5 – Pack bowling report.  Very good turnout and lots of fun.  Pizza and pop was a hit as well.  Thank you Sara Schaefer for organizing!

·         February 10 – Pack Waterloo firehouse visit, report.  A small group attended the visit.  They toured the living areas of the fireman, and detailed tours of the shop and firefighting equipment.

·         March 29 – Pinewood Derby, update.  The date was moved from March 5 to the 26th as discussed previously.  Track setup and test and tune is scheduled the day before at 9:00am.

·         May campout, discussion.  Mike is considering Rock Creek State Park, near Kellog, IA as the destination as it has lots of fishing and hiking potential.  He will look to see if campsites are available the first weekend in May.

·         Advancement – Ashely reported that the Lions have completed their requirements for advancement.  Other dens are reportedly on track to complete their advancement requirements by the end of the school year.

·         Service Projects – Our first service project of the year was our Scout Sunday activities as described previously.

·         Chaplain – Religious awards, update.  One Webelo 2 is ready for approval of their Parvuli Dei award.  We are waiting for booklets for the other Webelos scouts.

·         Training – We will need some more leaders to complete BALOO (Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation) training.  Leaders should also take the Safe Swim Defense if there certification has expired or if they have not taken it before.

·         Equipment – Other than repairing the trailer vent, we are in good shape.

·         Fundraising – Pop cans, update
