Since August 14, we had income of $948 in 2 pop can checks, and $1,309 for new scout registrations.  Expenses were $3,350 for annual rechartering, $ 1,865 for new scout registration, $565 for handbooks, $366 for scout account reimbursements, and $178 for July campout food reimbursements.  Our can redemption center owes the pack $1,514 for 3 truckloads of returnables from Aug 28 through Sep 11.

·         Quarterly budget review – The pack fiscal year ended Aug 31, the review showed pop cans created more income than budgeted, and as a result scout accounts benefited accordingly.  New scout registration and rechartering costs have increased substantially as national increased fees and the council recently imposed activity fees for all scout registrations.  Overall the pack is in strong financial shape and that is expected to continue as long as the pop can fundraiser continues to operate.
